This Privacy Policy explains how Bishop Sport Systems (AKA, Deck Sport Systems) collects and uses information when you use PracticeDeck in Canada or the United States. We collect only what we need to operate accounts, builders, subscriptions, publishing, support, security, and product improvement.
Bishop Sport Systems (AKA, Deck Sport Systems) is accountable for personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), other applicable Canadian privacy laws, and applicable United States privacy laws.
We use trusted providers to run PracticeDeck. These may include Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, Resend or another email provider for account and support emails, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, PostHog for optional product analytics (only if you allow it), and hosting providers for delivery and reliability.
PracticeDeck is operated from Canada. Our providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. Information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or other authorities under the laws of the place where it is processed or stored. Contact the Privacy Officer with questions about providers or international processing.
Public coach profile pages and coach following are not currently available. Published content may still display creator credit.
Private share links allow anyone who has the enabled link to view the shared content. Profile pictures and team logos are stored with publicly accessible image URLs; hiding a coach profile does not restrict those URLs. Avoid uploading private athlete information as a picture or logo.
If you publish content, that content and associated creator information may be visible to other users or public visitors. Published content may be indexed in Discover and may show counts such as views, saves, ratings, and PracticeDeck adds.
PracticeDeck is intended for adult coaches and team staff, not children. Account holders must be at least 18 and have reached the age of majority where they live. Children under 13 must not use the service or submit personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Do not upload or send personal information about children under 13, even with parental or organizational permission. This includes names, identifiable photos or videos, contact details, dates of birth, locations, school records, health information, and identifying combinations of details. Use generic labels such as Player 1 and non-identifying diagrams instead, including in private plans and support requests.
If you believe an under-13 account or prohibited child information has reached the service, contact info@decksportsystems.com with the account or content reference. Do not send additional child information. We will investigate promptly, restrict access as appropriate, and delete the prohibited information and any under-13 account we identify, subject only to retention required by law. Parental consent is not an exception to this policy.
We keep account and content information while needed to provide the service. Billing, legal acceptance, security, and dispute records may be retained after account closure where needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention, or legal claims. Retention depends on the record, purpose, and applicable requirements; we do not promise a single retention period for all records. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup cycle expires and are not kept for ordinary use.
Request account or content deletion through support. Deletion of your account may not remove copies other users were permitted to save or adapt, public copies outside our control, or records we must retain. Report prohibited child information separately so we can assess related copies and retained material. Cancelling a subscription and deleting an account are separate requests; tell support if you want both.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information; no system is completely secure. We will investigate privacy and security incidents and provide notices to affected people, regulators, or others when and within the time required by applicable Canadian or United States law. Different jurisdictions may have different notification thresholds and deadlines.
Contact info@decksportsystems.com to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information. Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to PracticeDeck, you may also have rights to portability, to opt out of certain processing, to use an authorized agent, or to appeal a decision. We assess requests under the laws that apply; this notice does not claim that every state privacy statute applies to every account.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or an agent's authority, without requesting more than necessary. We will explain any applicable exception or denial and how to request reconsideration or an appeal by replying to the Privacy Officer. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. You may also contact the appropriate privacy regulator or state attorney general.
PracticeDeck does not use advertising cookies or sell personal information for money. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Essential hosting, authentication, security, and payment providers may receive technical information when you use the service; their services may recognize a device across sites for purposes such as fraud prevention. The Cookie Notice describes the technologies used.
The app does not currently change its essential processing in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. Do Not Track is distinct from legally recognized opt-out preference signals. Where applicable law requires us to honor such a signal, we will do so for the processing to which that right applies.
We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the service. If the business is reorganized or transferred, information may be transferred subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.
We will post changes with an updated effective date. For material changes we will provide notice through the service or by email and obtain consent where required. Contact the Privacy Officer if you have questions about a change or an earlier version.
